I am a freelance journalist, and the world of nature is one of my favorite topics. For nine years, I wrote a biweekly nature column in Phoenicia Times and Olive Press in upstate New York. Other articles have appeared in the Bergen Record, Energy Times, Woodstock Times, Generation Monthly, House Magazine, Chronogram, Aikido Today, The Sun Magazine, Bulletin of Primitive Technology, Northeast Herbal Association Journal, and other publications. My training as an herbalist led me to a deep intimacy with nature and a desire to protect the environment.
